DIY seasame n jaggery health bombs

Did u know that quarter cup of raw organic unhulled sesame seeds has 351 mg of calcium while one cup of whole milk has only 291 mg of calcium??? Not only calcium unhulled seasame seeds are full of magnesium, copper, vitamin B1, zinc and dietary fiber… Well if your LO doesn’t drink milk, you needn’t worry… Give them this health bomb 😊!Β It’s extremely healthy, tastes yum πŸ˜‹Β n is damn easy to prepare – takes 15 mins…


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C dry roasted n powdered raw organic unhulled sesame seeds
  • *1/2 C organic jaggery grated

*This would be very sweet, reduce the qty of jaggery a little according to your taste. Alternately you can use dates too…

Method:

  • Put the grated jaggery in the mixer and run it once, it becomes like this πŸ‘‡

  • Add seasame seed powder and run it once until it become like this πŸ‘‡

  • That’s it! Make small balls like these with your hands…

P.S: The unhulled sesame seeds powder can be used as topping for many dishes n salads! So u can prepare it in bulk n store in an air tight jar n keep it handy…
