I have a very thick, long n wavy hair, the only problem I had was that whenever I washed my hair, it would turn wild and frizzy π¦!
To tame my wild n curly locks I did try hair gels to hold it all together – but was not satisfied with the results! I’ve also tried permanent straightening (oh my, it did take a looot of time & money!). Though I had fancied it for few days I really wasn’t happy with the look. It wasn’t natural after all… I re-grew my hair and got the straight hair cut and finally after 2 long years, I got my natural hair back… I did miss it π!
And once I started to realise that all these products are full of harmful chemicals (read this n this to know in detail) which can do more harm than help, to us & the environment- I’ve ditched all of them for good and never looked back! Am soo happy for another reason too – I’ve noticed this helped me reduced a lot of plastic usage too!!!
I went back to my biodegradable all-natural homemade shampoo (this s just awesome, I had used this all throughout my life, though got parted away for few years coz of the misleading adverts n suggestions!), all-natural homemade pre-conditioners and this hair serum… And I learnt to tame my hair and soon felt in love β€οΈ with its natural look…
Ingredients:

- 3 parts Castor oil
- 1 part Moroccan argan oil
- 2% dilution of rosemary essential oil & lavender essential oil
Why these ingredients?
Castor oil: The antioxidants in castor oil supports the keratin in hair and help make hair stronger, smoother and less frizzy. It doesnβt actually penetrate the hair shaft but seals in the moisture already in the hair, fills in missing spots in the keratin structure of the outer section of the hair shaft. Not only does that impart shine but it can strengthen the hair shaft!
Argan oil: Its a non-greasy oil, that makes your hair easier to style while repairing those pesky split ends!
Lavender & Rosemarry essential oils: Apart from adding a sweet fragrance these essential oils are known to be beneficial to the hair – promote hair growth, and prevent hair loss!
How to prepare:
In a dark coloured glass bottle preferably with glass dipper, add the ingredients in the above mentioned order. Close the lid and shake it. Store in a dry place away from direct sun βοΈ light.
When n how to apply?
Daily before you comb hair, take few drops 2-8 drops π¦ (depending on the thickness n length) in your palm and warm it by rubbing your hands together, then start from the middle n apply all the way to the ends… n wave a good bye π frizzy hair!
However if you are not in a DIY mode, I do sell a very limited of these on my facebook buy sell group – eco friendly ma. Interested folks do join the group!
