Meaning(I bow down to him who purifies the impurities) of the Mind by Yoga, (who purifies the expression of) Speech by Pada (Grammar) and (who purifies the) impurities of the Body through Vaidya (Medical Science), He who is an expert in removing (the impurities of the Body, Mind and Speech), to that most excellent of Munis, … (Who is) Patanjali, I bow down with folded hands.

Suryanamaskara / sun salutation Mantra:

Hiranmayena patrena satyasyapihitam mukham |

Tatvam pusanna parvenu satyadharmaya drstaye ||

Meaning: Like a lid to a vessel, O Sun! Your older orb covers the entrance to Truth. Kindly open the same & lead us to Truth.

Pranayama Mantra:

Pranasyedam Vase Sarvam Tridivee Yath Prathishtitham|

Maateva Putraan Rakshasva Shrischa Pragnascha Videhinaam Ithi|| [Pra┼Ыna Upanishad 2.13]

Meaning: Whatever exists in the three worlds is all under the control of Pr─Бna. (O Pr─Бna) protect us as a mother protects her sons; give us affluence and intelligence.

Cyclic Meditation Mantra / Prayer:

Laye Sambodayeth Chittam Vikshiptham Samayeth Punaha|

Sakashayam Vijaneeyath Samapraptham Na Chalayeth||

Meaning: In the state of drowsiness – awaken the mind, when agitated – pacify it. Recognise the deeper mind, reaching the state of perfect equilibrium; do not disturb that State!

Meditation Mantra / Prayer:

Shane Shaneuparameth Buddha Druthigruheetaya|

Aatmasamstham manah Krutva Na Kinchidapi Chinthayeth||

Meaning: With the intellect set in steadiness let us attain quititude little by little. With the mind fixed on Self, let us not think of anything.
