When ever I sense flue / throat infection symptoms, I would do this detoxification for a day and it will be gone like magic ✨. This has been working wonders for me and for few of my family members and so I thought of sharing it with you guys! It’s a well known fact that lemon is extremely rich in vitamin C, it helps detoxify our body. Even if you don’t have the flue symptoms you can still do this to detoxify your body from various toxins that get accumulated (due to consumption of junk food / intake of medicines / inhalation of polluted air etc…), once in a month.
Through this detoxification process we do not consume heavy food hence give a lot of time for the body’s natural defence system aka immune system to produce antibodies and act on the antigen (bacteria, viruses, or fungi that cause infection and disease) & inactivate them! I believe our forefathers knew the benefits of this and hence made a custom to fast on Shukla Paksha Ekadashi <an auspicious day, 11th lunar day in waxing phase, which occurs in a Hindu calendar month> that comes up monthly once… How wise of them! So instead of a complete fast, how about this with lemon & honey!

One of my favourite starters have been the veg BBQs, ever since I had them in the BBQ nation <a restaurant that is known for its BBQ starters>… We started re-visiting the restaurant just for the starters. I badly wanted to try them @ home and since I didn’t have the equipment & charcoal on hand, kept postponing the trial… Then on one fine day I did try the mushroom BBQ on gas stove top and it turned out real good almost like the restaurant one <btw I say almost as burning on charcoal gives a special taste and since I did on stove top, that flavour was missing but other wise it was 90% similar and close to the taste!> Once the mushroom BBQ turned out good I tried with few more veggies and it was a success, yah! So here comes the recipe..

Hi friends eyes are the most important feature that can make you look glamorous 👁👩🏻… When it comes to eye makeup, kajal or kohl is the most important product. But what is a commercial kajal, eye liner n mascara made up of??? 📢 Check this out to know the ingredients n the harm they might cause to your eyes!
I have already tried the almond khol and mascara, which I have been using from many months now, the mascara is just perfect but I wasn’t fully satisfied with the Kajal outcome, though the colour was perfect black it had some not so fine particles that would cause a little discomfort to the eye when applied. After lots of attempts I finally got the perfect Kajal done in a very authentic Indian Ayurvedic way!
What is required to prepare Khol powder:
- Earthen / bronze diya/deepam
- A cotton wick
- Lots of castor oil to burn the lamp
- Lots of almonds to burn
- A sheep edge knife or long needle to hold almond
- A copper plate
- 2 tumbles for support

Biriyani is an rice dish with veggies/egg/meat, made with highly seasoned spices and is a favourite dish for many food lovers in India 🇮🇳! The word Biryani is derived from the Persian word Birian, which means ‘fried before cooking’ and Birinj, the Persian word for rice. So it could have originated in Persia, and brought to India by the Mughals.
There are many varieties of biriyani – however this egg biriyani tasted real good and I wanted to share the recipe with you guys…
